    This product is indicated as a short-acting intravenous general anesthetic for: induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in adults and pediatric patients over 1 month of age; sedation during diagnostic procedures and surgeries in adults and pediatric patients over 1 month of age, which can be used alone or in combination with local or regional anesthesia; and sedation for ventilated patients receiving assisted ventilation in intensive care units (ICU) for those aged 16 years and older.
